[00:00:00] Hello and welcome to another episode of Financial Snickens, your Bite-sized information for Entrepreneurs. This week is one everyone can use, we're gonna be talking about three free tools to find more money to help you save more money. Everyone can use a little extra cash in their wallet. Did you know that there's free tools out there that can help you find unclaimed money or grow your savings? Here's three of our favorites. The first one is Power pay. I love this. This was put out by Utah State University and the link is in the note show notes, and it's called Power Pay, and so it helps debtors become savers. Power Pay gives you the tools to develop a personalized, self-directed debt elimination plan. It tells you how quickly you can become debt free and how much you can save [00:01:00] an interest cost by following your debt reduction plan. You have to create a username and password to log into the software, but if you're serious about reducing your debt, either personal or business, it's worth a look. Okay. Number two. This one is good for everybody. unclaimed.org. You wanna see if you have any unclaimed money out there. All you have to do is go to unclaimed.org to find unclaimed property in any state that you lived in. Simply search by sit. Go in and search for unclaimed property, which is money, dividends, anything, and follow the instructions on how to claim it. They even track uncashed checks if they've been reported. Nice way to find quick cash. My third tool is Credit Karma. This is a must have. It keeps track of your credit alerts and it [00:02:00] makes you aware of any changes or errors in your credit report. This will help you to track all of this easily. Credit Karma Link is in the show notes and it'll help you find out, did you miss a payment? Has your credit score increased or decreased? And don't forget, the higher your credit score, the better interest rates you'll be offered on loans. Also, it keeps an eye for changes that will negatively impact your credit score. It also gives you helpful hints on how to improve your score, and they also let you know if they think there's an issue with your report by sending you regular emails. Do you have a favorite tool? Let us know. Head over to our [email protected]. Click on the Let's check button and tell me what your favorite tool is.
